No flashy-revenue-number-thirst-traps here, not charging enough attracts the wrong clients + more

As you may have noticed, in this corner of the internet, we promise you won’t get hustle-culture, tech bro, or flashy-revenue-number-thirst-traps. It’s rarely actually helpful or replicable to hear how someone else got to 1 million subscribers in 2 weeks.

As you may have noticed, in this corner of the internet, we promise you won’t get hustle-culture, tech bro, or flashy-revenue-number-thirst-traps. It’s rarely actually helpful or replicable to hear how someone else got to 1 million subscribers in 2 weeks. Instead, it just leaves a pit in our stomach while we let comparison rob us of inspiration. I promise never to do that to you.

The thing is: the tools we use everyday give us dysmorphia, and changing your scorecard to be a personal one is the key to focus and improvement. You’re here to compete against yourself, not anyone else.

This is one of the many reasons I love the Big Cash Money community. While members are incredibly transparent about their money goals, scorecards are deeply personal and never in a race against each other. It’s the very antithesis of Twitter and LinkedIn.

So next time you doomscroll, check in with your personal scorecard instead and lean on a community that supports you exactly as you are ❤️

LIVE FROM BIG CASH MONEY

Big Cash Money (lovingly called BCM) is a community of multihyphenates - professionals who are building multiple income streams, often along a day job.

🧑🏻‍🏫 Members took part in Coach Ryan’s Monetization Workshop earlier today - workshops are free for all BCM members and a huge part of the community experience.

📓 Members posted their Monday Asyncs with their goals and plans for the week.

🤔 A member shared an interesting read by Cal Newport on the argument for not starting (shots fired! I love the countertake to my last newsletter on the art of starting), but such a great read that got us all thinking.

Want to join a future cohort? Add yourself to the waiting list. Cohorts opening up soon.
